DCCU Youth Savings Account

You’re never too young to start saving.

How many times have you wished you started saving earlier? Well, your kids certainly can do what you wished you would have done. Delta Community CU offers our future leaders a great way to get the savings ball rolling and keep it moving with our Sandy Savers™ Club. For those a little more financially savvy, we've created Quaterlife, a complete banking program for young adults (or the young at heart).

(ages 12 and under)

We know how different a 12-year-old is from a 5-year-old, so we split the Sandy Savers™ Club into two age groups: 0-6 and 7-12. This way, we can help kids learn how to save, spend and earn money in the way that they’ll pick up on best.

Children 0-6 can join Sandy Savers™ (our savings mascot) and his feathered buddies to learn about saving money. They’ll receive a quarterly newsletter addressed to them that has fun games, activities and even a special parents’ section about the newsletter content.

Kids 7-12 can have fun learning about money with the Cool Cash Kids™ and teacher Flo Cash (our cartoon savings characters). They’ll be able to go to our epic “Tonocash” website and learn all about them and their adventures in saving money. Quarterly newsletters as well as past newsletters are available for your kids right on the website. Click here to view the most current newsletter. Visit the Tonocash website now!

Once the Savings Account is opened, all Sandy Savers will receive a special gift. And to help them celebrate their birthday, they’ll get a special birthday card mailed to them the month of their birthday.

Want to enroll your kid in the Sandy Savers Club?

It’s easy. Just complete the Sandy Savers™ Club Enrollment Form and return it to any Delta Community CU branch along with the $5 membership deposit. Any child, grandchild, sister, brother, niece, nephew or cousin (natural, legally adopted or step) 12 years of age and under of an eligible Delta Community CU member can join as long as they have a joint owner. View Delta Community CU membership eligibility. The member to whom the child is related must be a member in good standing with Delta Community CU.

Quarterlife was made for our young adult crowd. It's a financial program that serves as a guide, a resource and a complete banking platform to help young adults figure out this whole money thing. And with tons of features, Quarterlife is your financial resource through each stage of your life. Ready to check it out? Just go to
