What constitutes a 'cash advance' on a Delta Community CU Visa and is there a fee?

A Cash Advance Fee of $3.00 is charged on the following types of transactions:

  • Using a Visa credit card at an ATM
  • Using a Visa credit card at a financial institution, face to face, to obtain cash
  • Transfers from Visa loan to another account (Not including overdraft protection)

The interest rate for cash advances is the same as it is for purchases but cash advances begin accruing interest from the date you get the cash advance or from the first day of the billing cycle in which the cash advance is posted to your account, whichever is later, whereas purchases begin accruing interest after the statement due date if they remain unpaid.

Cash Advance Fee does not
apply to the following types of transactions:
