    Shred Days in the Community

    Now that tax season is behind you, you might be looking for a way to safely and securely discard sensitive papers such as bank statements, medical history papers and pay stubs. If a document contains your signature, Social Security number, account number or medical or legal information, it should be shredded when you no longer need it. While Delta Community does not host Shred Day events anymore, we've collected a list of upcoming local shred events to help meet your needs.

    Fayette County Earth Day Festival
    When: Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    Where: 140 Stonewall Avenue W, Fayetteville
    Cost: Free

    Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful
    When: Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon
    Where: Coolray Field, 2500 Buford Drive, Lawrenceville
    Cost: Free (limit of 5 copier boxes per vehicle)

    Community Shredding Day
    When: Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon
    Where: Harry Norman, Realtors, 4848 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta
    Cost: Free (limit of 5 boxes or trash bags per household)

    Keep Cobb Beautiful
    When: Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Where: Jim Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road SW, Marietta
    Cost: Free (limit of 10 boxes or 100 pounds)

    Keep Kennesaw Beautiful
    When: Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    Keep Newnan Beautiful

    Keep North Fulton Beautiful
    When: Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    Where: Panera Bread, 11715 Medlock Bridge Road, Duluth
    Cost: Free (limit of 10 boxes)

    Roswell residents don't need to wait for a special event—they can bring up to two bankers boxes per vehicle per day any time the Roswell Recycling Center is open. The Recycling Center is located at 11570 Maxwell Road in Alpharetta.

    Your local Office DepotFedEx Office and UPS Store may also offer low-cost shredding services.
