  1. Android Vulnerability Stagefright Identified

    As you may be aware from recent news reports, a serious vulnerability, nicknamed Stagefright, has been identified involving Android-based smartphones. Using this vulnerability, an attacker could infect the device via a malicious MMS message, even without the message being opened, and gain access to the data, camera, photos, microphone, etc. Android users should check with their phone manufacturers and wireless carriers for recommendations to modify settings on the device to reduce the risk, along with the status of updates to address the vulnerability.
