Delta Community members will soon be able to send money to family and friends with Zelle® in our Mobile App and Online Banking. Sending and receiving money between friends and acquaintances using a variety of phone apps has become commonplace. Whether you’re sharing the cost of an Uber or Lyft ride, splitting the bill of a dinner out with friends or making a payment for babysitting—you want your payment made fast, safe and easy.
At Delta Community, we just get it. We understand the importance of providing our members with ways to make life easy. That's why we're excited to announce that later this year, we'll be launching Zelle to offer our members a great way to send money to and receive money from friends, family and others you trust.
Zelle is already available to over 100 million consumers in their banking or credit union experience, and we're excited to provide it free to Delta Community members. Currently, members can transfer money to accounts that they own at other financial institutions and to fellow Delta Community members with a one-time setup process. However, the launch of Zelle will provide even more convenience with the ability to quickly and safely send and receive money to and from your family, friends and trusted acquaintances. Money sent with Zelle is typically available in minutes when the recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle.
