Delta Community Credit Union announces the 2015 recipients of its annual scholarship program, which supports members in their quest for higher education. Delta Community selected five students based on academic achievement, community service and submission of an essay on a topic selected by the Credit Union.

Delta Community Credit Union announces a new relationship between Delta Community Retirement & Investment Services (DCR&IS) and LPL Financial, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer. The Institution Services platform of LPL Financial provides comprehensive third-party brokerage, wealth management and trust services to the investment programs of more than 740 banks and credit unions throughout the United States.

Delta Community Credit Union announces a call for applications for the 2016 Delta Community Credit Union Philanthropic Fund. The grant program provides financial support to registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that align with Delta Community’s mission of helping families manage household finances and improving the physical and financial well-being of young people.

Delta Community Credit Union has named Pam Davis as its new senior vice president of Branch Delivery and Operations. Davis will report to Chief Operating Officer Matthew Shepherd, effective May 1, 2015, and succeeds Carol Sundberg, senior vice president of Payments and Member Service, who will retire on July 1 after 41 years of Delta Community service.

Delta Community Credit Union announces a call for entries for its annual scholarship program. The scholarship program will award five applicants a total of $20,000 in scholarship money based on academic achievement, community involvement and submission of an essay on a topic selected by the Credit Union.

Delta Community Credit Union will celebrate its 75th anniversary on March 8, 2015. Credit Union employees and members will mark the occasion by providing additional support to four of its non-profit partners who are also celebrating anniversaries this year.

Delta Community Credit Union continued its community involvement efforts in 2014 by investing $625,000 to foster growth and prosperity in the communities it serves. Delta Community provided financial support to 15 non-profit organizations through its Philanthropic Fund grant program, and also to metro Atlanta chambers of commerce, high schools, community initiatives and to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
