Only current guests of Delta Community may use this Wi-Fi service. By clicking your acceptance or by accessing or using this service, you represent that you are currently a guest of Delta Community and acknowledge that you have read all of the terms and conditions contained herein, understand them, and agree to be legally bound by them.
Welcome to the guest Wi-Fi high-speed Internet access system (“Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi”) at Delta Community Credit Union (“Delta Community”). These “Terms and Conditions of Use”, govern your rights and responsibilities and our rights and responsibilities relating to the use of the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi at Delta Community (collectively, the “Agreement”).
Your access to the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi is completely at the discretion of Delta Community, and your access to the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of this Agreement, actions that may lead to liability for Delta Community, disruption of access to other users or networks, or violation of applicable laws or regulations.
By clicking on “I Agree” on the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi sign-up page, you represent that:
a. You have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
AND
b. You are at least 18 years of age.
If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, or if you are not 18 years of age or older, you may not use the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi. Your electronic acceptance of this Agreement by clicking on “I Agree” on the sign-up page has the same effect as if you had actually signed the Agreement. The effective date of this Agreement is the date that you click on “I Agree.”
Delta Community will provide access to Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi at locations that have been equipped with Wi-Fi access points. Access points or Wi-Fi enabled locations may not be available in all areas of Delta Community, and may not always be operational. The Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi may be subject to periodic maintenance, unforeseen downtime, and limited availability.
The Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi is provided as a free service on an “as is” basis with no guarantee of service.
Delta Community screens or restricts access to certain content placed on or accessible through the Internet. Delta Community also screens or restricts communications between certain parties via the Internet. You acknowledge that if you access the Internet you may receive or be exposed to content, goods or services which you consider to be improper, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, obscene or otherwise offensive. You agree that Delta Community is not liable for any action or interaction with respect to any such content on the Internet accessible through the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi. No network communication should be considered private, protected, or 100 percent secure. All communication through the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi is subject to monitoring.
Use of Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi is undertaken at the user’s own risk and Delta Community shall have no liability whatsoever, either express or implied, with respect to the use of the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi.
You must (1) provide all equipment (including computer hardware and software, wireless network cards, etc.) to connect to the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi, and (2) comply with local, state, federal and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to copyright and intellectual property rights laws. You also agree to be responsible for and to bear all risk and consequences for (1) the accuracy, completeness, reliability and/or usefulness of any content available through the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi, and (2) all communications that you send or receive via the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi. Delta Community does not undertake the security of any data you send through the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi and it is your responsibility to secure such data.
Delta Community assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or device configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi or the Internet, nor liability for any damages to hardware, software or data, however caused. It is the responsibility of the user to protect their wireless devices through use of up-to-date virus protection, personal firewall and any other suitable measures.
Delta Community staff will NOT assume any responsibility for personal hardware configurations, security or changes to data files resulting from connecting to Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi. It is recommended that users make a backup copy of any settings before configuring their equipment for use on Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi.
All users of Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi must comply with this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”). This AUP is intended to prevent unacceptable uses of the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi. Delta Community does actively monitor the use of the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi under normal circumstances.
For quality assurance purposes, Delta Community reserves the right to:
Delta Community may cooperate with legal authorities and/or third parties in the investigation of any suspected or alleged crime or civil wrong. Violation of this AUP may result in the suspension or termination of your access to Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi.
Your use of the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi and any activities conducted online through the Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi shall not violate any applicable law or regulation or the rights of Delta Community, or any third party. Delta Community cannot accept any responsibility for any injury or loss that results from inaccurate, unsuitable, offensive, or illegal Internet communications.
Use Of The Delta Community-Guest-Wi-Fi For The Following Activities Is Strictly Prohibited:
Spamming and Invasion of Privacy of Others, Violating Intellectual Property Law, Transmitting Obscene or Indecent Speech or Materials, Transmitting Defamatory or Abusive Language, Hacking or Distribution of Internet Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horses, or Other Destructive Activities.
