What information and privileges are granted to an authorized user?

An authorized user is granted usage privileges to the Visa Debit Card. This allows access to the funds in the checking account. The authorized user has the right to review/inquire about their own transaction information, because they have a unique card number different from the primary owner's card.

How do I add an authorized user to my Visa Debit Card?

To add an authorized user, the Visa Debit Card Authorization Form must be completed.

Once the completed form has been received by the credit union, a Visa Debit Card will be ordered for the authorized user in their name. The authorized user should receive the specific account card within 7 to 10 business days.

How do I remove an authorized user from my Visa Debit Card?

If you are the primary member, complete the Debit Card Authorized User Removal Form and return to 404-677-4598 attn: Card Services or mail to Delta Community, Attn: Card Services, PO Box 20541, Atlanta, GA 30320-2541. You can also submit your request within Online Banking from Contact Us under Additional Services.

If you are the authorized user and would like to remove yourself, you will need to send in a signed, notarized, written request to the address above.
