Get Started with Android Pay

  1. Android Pay may be pre-loaded on your device; simply look for the Android Pay app on your phone. If it wasn’t pre-loaded, download it at the Google Play store.
  2. Touch the plus sign on the bottom right of the app and touch Add a Credit or Debit Card.
  3. Enter your card information manually or capture it using the camera. Delta Community recommends manually entering and validating your card information.
  4. To make your Delta Community Visa Card your default card, double tap the image of your Delta Community Card and touch Set as Default Card. Or, you can touch the card and drag it to the Default Card spot.

Using Android Pay is Easy

  1. Unlock your device. In-store, you don’t have to open the Android Pay app to make a purchase with your device.
  2. Hold your device near the contactless payment terminal.
  3. Your phone will beep or vibrate. You’ll also receive an on-screen confirmation that the payment was made.
  4. In-app, you can pay through the Android Pay button within the merchant application.

What devices can I use with Android Pay?

Android Pay will work with any Android phone running KitKat (4.4 or higher). Your phone also needs to support Near Field Communication (NFC) and Host Card Emulation (HCE).

How do I get started with Android Pay?

Android Pay is preloaded on some Android phones. If it's not already loaded on yours, download the Android Pay app from the Google Play store and add your Delta Community Credit and Debit Cards.

All Delta Community Personal and Business Visa Credit and Debit Cards can be used with Android Pay.

How do I make my Delta Community Visa Card my default payment card?

To make your Delta Community Visa Card your default card, double tap the image of your Delta Community Card and touch Set as Default Card. Or, you can touch the card and drag it to the Default Card spot.

Is Android Pay secure?

Yes. Your card number isn’t stored on your phone or provided to the merchant. In place of your card number, a unique Virtual Account Number is generated for your device. And, you’re always covered by Visa’s Zero Liability policy which protects you against unauthorized purchases when using your Delta Community Visa Credit and Debit Cards.

How are my privacy and personal information protected?

Android Pay doesn’t store your card information on your device or provide it to merchants.

If you suspect your card is lost or stolen, call us immediately at 800-544-3328. You can also block your card online by logging in to Online Banking and selecting Card Management under the Additional Services tab.
