High school apprentices gain experience at Delta Community Credit Union

There must be something to this job that his friends actually enjoyed it, Azim Master thought to himself.
The Peachtree Ridge High School senior remembered hearing that from his friends who worked at Delta Community Credit Union. In so many words, Master explained that it was better than a typical job for a teenager. First of all, it paid higher than minimum wage, and it was in air-conditioning, which by itself set it apart from fast food, landscaping or construction.
It was a chance to build communication skills interacting with members of the branch who came in for transactions, and to build their resume for college and beyond.
Master plans to study international business in college, and that’s why the high school apprenticeship program at the credit union appealed to him.
