Delta Community Credit Union Announces Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications
Accomplished PR Professional John Kennedy Joins Georgia’s Largest Credit Union
ATLANTA (July 15, 2014) – Delta Community Credit Union (www.DeltaCommunityCU.com) announces John Kennedy as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications, a newly-formed position at Georgia’s largest credit union. John joins Delta Community’s marketing and communications team, where he will manage the company’s internal and external communications strategies.
“As an accomplished communications and public relations professional, John brings experience in a variety of communications strategies to our marketing and communications department,” says Hank Halter, Delta Community CEO. “As Delta Community continues to grow in support of its membership base, we also felt it was critical to maintain a keen strategy for both external and internal communications. Kennedy brings to Delta Community more than 20 years of communications and public relations experience, having most recently served as Manager, Corporate Communications with MLT Vacations, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. In this role and previous roles, Kennedy managed corporate and employee communications programs, including media relations, crisis communications and marketing communications strategies. Kennedy also served as Senior Public Relations Manager for Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport and General Manager, Media Relations with Delta Air Lines.
