Delta Community Credit Union Recognized by the Credit Union National Association Marketing and Business Development Council
Continues Tradition of Outstanding Marketing and Business Development Programming
ATLANTA (April 14, 2014) – Delta Community Credit Union (www.deltacommunitycu.com), Georgia’s largest credit union, was recently honored with two Diamond Awards by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council. Diamond Awards, presented annually, recognize creative excellence in the industry of credit union marketing and business development professionals.
“We know the Diamond Awards are not easily earned and we are honored to be recognized by professionals in our industry for creativity, exploring new tactics and executing meaningful partnerships and programs," says Eve Nimkar, vice president of marketing at Delta Community Credit Union.
Delta Community Credit Union was presented with the Diamond Award for Best Overall Campaign for its integrated, multi-channel Switch & Save promotion. Switch & Save promoted low interest rates on loans and low or no service fees as incentives for new and existing members to switch all their financial accounts to the Credit Union.
Delta Community also won the Category’s Best Diamond Award for its Bonus Round direct mail campaign. Both Switch & Save and Bonus Round sought to attract new members and deepen relationships with existing members. Scout Marketing, in Atlanta, served as Delta Community’s advertising agency for the campaigns.
The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is a national network comprised of more than 1,100 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards were given on March 12-15 in 29 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.
