Cool Cash Money Camp
Delta Community's Cool Cash Money Camp is a fun, interactive financial workshop that gives children between the ages of 8 and 11 the opportunity to learn more about the value of saving and managing money.

Camp attendees must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Locations, dates and time are listed below:
Peachtree City (Wisdom Road) - Tuesday, July 14

Duluth - Wednesday, July 15

Fayetteville - Tuesday, July 21

Vinings - Wednesday, July 22

Camps begin at 10 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.

June Philanthropic Fund Grant Awards
Representatives from Delta Community presented Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (left), Georgia Law Center for the Homeless (center) and Posse Atlanta (right) with checks from the Philanthropic Fund.
Delta Community's 2015 Philanthropic Fund grant awards continued in June, with the following three organizations:
 
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta was awarded a $3,000 grant. These clubs provide struggling children and teens with a safe, positive and engaging environment and programs that prepare and inspire them to achieve future success.
     
  • Posse Atlanta received a $2,000 grant. This organization identifies promising students from urban backgrounds and provides them with the support, resources and funding needed to graduate from select colleges at a high success rate.
     
  • Georgia Law Center for the Homeless, a non-profit organization providing free, quality legal services to homeless individuals and families in Atlanta and throughout Georgia, was awarded a $1,000 grant.

Delta Community and KISS 104.1 Award Second HBCU Scholarship
KISS 104.1's Veronica Waters, HBCU scholarship winner Janae Lyttle, her father, Martin, and Delta Community COO Matthew Shepherd.
As part of its 75th anniversary, Delta Community is partnering with Atlanta radio station KISS 104.1 to provide students attending a Historically Black College and University in Georgia with four scholarships totaling $7,500.

Janae Lyttle is the recipient of the second scholarship, presented in the amount of $1,875 at our Vinings branch on June 30. Janae graduated from Union Grove High School with honors and plans to attend Spelman college in Atlanta this fall as a pre-med student majoring in biology.

Delta Community was again featured on WXIA-TV 11 Alive’s Atlanta & Company live morning show.

The appearance is part of the station’s “Companies that Care” program, which gives Delta Community leaders the opportunity to talk about the value we offer consumers and the communities we serve.

Online Banking Upgrade Complete
Delta Community’s Online and Mobile Banking upgrade, which began in late January, is now complete. Some of the new service features offered include:
