Alpharetta Branch Grand Opening
The ribbon has been cut and our newest branch is officially open. The Alpharetta Branch, located at 11575 Haynes Bridge Road, is our 24th branch location in metro Atlanta and 27th branch overall. We celebrated the Alpharetta Branch Grand Opening with several community events, including the Ribbon Cutting, Meet the Team Day, Food Truck Friday and Kids Day. During the festivities, members enjoyed lunch from Happy Belly Truck, music from Q100, face painting, games and giveaways. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!
Alpharetta will house our full-service branch operations team as well as lending staff able to assist members with their home, auto and personal loan needs. We look forward to serving our members, and welcoming new members, with this new, convenient location.
Adjustable-Rate Mortgage Promotion
Members looking for a new home this summer can save money with our special rates on Adjustable-Rate Mortgages (ARM) now through July 31, 2017. An Adjustable-Rate Mortgage may be right for you if you don’t plan to stay in a property for a long time and you want a home loan with lower initial monthly payments. With rates as low as 2.75% (2.99% APR)3 on Adjustable-Rate Mortgages, it’s easy and affordable to lock in a low rate and purchase the home of your dreams, even if you need a Jumbo Loan. And, when you use an ARM to purchase your home from Delta Community, you’ll receive $500 off closing costs4.
Field of Membership Expanded
It’s easier than ever to become a Delta Community member. Thanks to new legislation, we’ve been able to expand our field of membership. Now, if you work in one of the 11 metro Atlanta counties we serve, you’re eligible for membership with the Credit Union, regardless of where you live.
For added convenience, our members also have access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs. For example, many Publix grocery stores have CO-OP ATMs that Delta Community members can use without incurring a service fee. Check out our CO-OP network FAQs and use our Service Locator to find the shared branches and surcharge-free ATMs most convenient to you.

If you’re already one of the 350,000 happy Delta Community Credit Union members, now is a good time to refer your coworkers (and earn a sweet reward). To learn more about the field of membership expansion, take a look at our blog.

Delta Community’s 2017 Philanthropic Fund grants continued in June with awards totaling $12,500 to the organizations listed below:
  • Chris 180, Inc. received a $5,000 grant for their “Transition Z” program, which provides housing, therapeutic support and life skills coaching for teenagers who have aged out of foster care and other government networks.

The Delta Community Philanthropic Fund will invest a total of $100,000 throughout 2017 to 22 metro Atlanta non-profit organizations which support the physical and financial needs of people who live within the communities we serve.

She graduated 6th in her class of 398 students with a 3.9 GPA. “This scholarship would be an invaluable contribution to my future educational accomplishments allowing me to reach my goal of completing college, despite financial obstacles,” she noted in her submission.

Member Nominates Dad for Father's Day Giveaway
To celebrate all Delta Community dads, we recently conducted a "Father’s Day Giveaway" promotion on our Delta Community Facebook page. Members posted photos and comments on our page describing the impact their fathers, grandfathers and husbands have had on their lives, along with the hashtag #DCCUDads, for a chance to win a Topgolf gift card.
The winning entry came from Robin, who nominated her father Jay, with the following:
"I'd like to nominate my dad Jay Miller. He is my dad, a grandfather and mentor to my 19-year-old son. I've been a single mother for almost 15 years, and he's the reason my son is who is he today. My son received his Eagle Scout rank because of all the help my dad gave him for his entire scouting venture. He's the rock of our family. We all love you to the moon and back, dad! Proud to also say our entire family of eight are all Delta Community Credit Union members."
Congrats again to Jay! Be sure to follow us on Facebook for future giveaways.
