Chip Card Conversion Update
Our chip card conversion continues and will wrap up early next month with chip Debit Cards having been mailed to all existing Debit Cardholders.
When used at chip-enabled terminals, smart chip technology creates a unique, one-time code for each transaction, so it is virtually impossible to replicate in a counterfeit card. Chip cards offer enhanced fraud protection, are accepted worldwide and are easy to use. Read our blog to learn more about chip cards and the security they offer.
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Improvements Coming Soon

We will be making enhancements to Delta Community’s 24-Hour Account Access Line (800-544-3328) this fall in order to improve member experience. Our toll-free IVR line allows members to self-service their accounts by performing functions such as accessing account information and balances, applying for loans or credit cards, activating cards, making loan payments and much more. Our Member Care Center is also available via the toll-free line to assist members with their accounts.

Updates to our IVR line will include:
• Streamlined navigation, making it easier to access your accounts in less time
• More precise menu language
• A personalized telephone access PIN for security and convenience

More information will be provided in the weeks to come.

August Philanthropic Fund Award Grants
Delta Community presents representatives from North Fulton Community Charities (left) and Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – Georgia Chapter checks totaling $6,000.

Our Philanthropic Fund grants continued in August with awards totaling $6,000 to the organizations listed below:

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation - Georgia Chapter was awarded $5,000 for its Butterfly Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance for families when a child is in treatment for brain cancer. Helping with items such as rent, utilities, gasoline and funeral expenses, the Fund helps maintain the household so parents can focus on their child.

North Fulton Community Charities received $1,000 for its Family Enrichment Education Center to help build self-sufficiency and prevent homelessness and hunger in our community by providing emergency assistance and enrichment programs. The Philanthropic Fund’s grant will be used for instructional manuals and supplies for North Fulton adults enrolled in four levels of Family Enrichment Education Center English (ESL) classes.

The Delta Community Philanthropic Fund will invest a total of $80,000 throughout 2016 to 17 metro Atlanta non-profit organizations, which support the physical and financial needs of people who live within the communities we serve.
