Delta Community Increases Philanthropic Fund to $100,000 to Benefit Metro Atlanta Charities
Credit Union Announces 2017 Philanthropic Fund Recipients
ATLANTA (Nov. 4, 2016) – Delta Community Credit Union (www.DeltaCommunityCU.com), Georgia’s largest credit union with more than $5 billion in assets, announces recipients of its fourth annual Philanthropic Fund grant program. In 2017, the Credit Union will invest a total of $100,000 in 22 organizations which support metro Atlanta children and families.
Wellspring Living, one of 22 organizations that will receive a 2017 Delta Community Philanthropic Fund grant, provides a safe haven for abused and at-risk girls in metro Atlanta.
“Increasing our total Philanthropic Fund from $80,000 to $100,000 and increasing the number of agencies we support demonstrates our commitment to support worthwhile organizations which share our goal of improving physical and financial health, especially among young people,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. “In addition, our employees actively partner with these award recipients throughout the year, furthering our support of the communities we serve.”
