Enabling Javascript (#6033)

Internet Explorer for Windows

  1. Click Tools menu and select Internet Options
  2. Select Security tab, then click on the "Custom Level..." button
  3. When the Security Settings Internet Zone dialog window opens, look for the Scripting section near the bottom
  4. In the Active Scripting option select Enable
  5. When the Warning window pops up asking Are you sure you want to change the settings? select Yes
  6. In the Internet Options window click the OK button to close
  7. Click on the Refresh button of the web browser to refresh the page


  1. In the upper right corner, click on the browser nemu (with three lines) and select Settings
  2. Click on the Show Advanced Setting
  3. Under Privacy, click on the Content Settings
  4. When the dialog window opens, select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) under JavaScript
  5. Click on Done to close
  6. Close the Settings tab
  7. Reopen the Chrome browser or click on the Reload this Page button of the web browser to refresh the page

Firefox - Version 23 or Greater

  1. In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter
  2. Click "I'll be careful, I promise" if a warning message appears
  3. In the search box, search for JavaScript.enabled
  4. Toggle the JavaScript.enabled preference (right click and select Toggle or double click the preference) to change the value from False to True


  1. On the web browser menu, click Tools and select Options
  2. In the Options window, select the Content tab
  3. Click the Enable JavaScript box
  4. In the Options window, click on the OK button to close
  5. Click on the Reload Current Page button on the web browser to refresh the page

Safari for Macintosh

  1. Click on Edit and select the "Preferences..." (On a Macintosh, click Safari then "Preferences...")
  2. Selet the Security tab
  3. In the Security tab, under the Web Content category click the Enable JavaScript box
  4. Click on the Reload the current page button
