Community

It’s not just a coincidence that we put the word “community” in our name. Supporting the metro Atlanta community is extremely important to us.

If our community isn’t together, then life can’t fully come together for the people who are a part of it. We believe that the better off everyone is, the better off we all will be, which is why we support so many community programs. And it’s why we hope that you’ll take part in them, too.

Out and about in the community.

Delta Community doesn’t just sit back and wait for community involvement opportunities to happen. We actively throw ourselves right in the middle of it. So you can get to know us better, here’s a glimpse into some of the things we do and the organizations we work with. We support Children’s Miracle Network through our partnership with Credit Unions for Kids. We are also involved in several Chambers of Commerce to help promote community growth and involvement. We support the schools and teachers in our community through our Partners in Education programs.

We provide access for professional, civic and nonprofit organizations to many of our leaders and subject matter experts through the Delta Community Speakers Bureau. Sharing best practices, insight and expertise on a wide array of topics is another way we invest in the communities we serve.

Philanthropic Grants Program

We are privileged to be a part of the communities we serve and are proud to make strategic investments throughout the year. The Delta Community Credit Union Philanthropic Fund enables us to support causes that assist with the physical and financial education of young people and families.

Our Sponsorship Program affords registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the areas we serve to apply for funding to support events and fundraisers such as school programs, galas, health fairs, golf tournaments, festivals and awards celebrations.
