Cobb Business Journal
Cobb-based Delta Community Credit Union announced that Linda O’Shea and Charlie Boyajian now serve respectively as chairman and vice chairman of its board of directors.
The elections occurred during a monthly board meeting on March 26 following Delta Community’s annual membership meeting on March 17. O’Shea had served as vice chairman since 2011 and was chosen by her peers to succeed Delta Community’s longtime chairman, Jim Diffley, who held the position for 38 years before his passing in September 2024.
O’Shea and Boyajian have extensive career experience, varied professional skills and many years of volunteer service on Delta Community’s board and related committees. During her 30-plus-year career, O’Shea held progressive management roles in finance and human resources, where she specialized in compensation. She worked at Delta Air Lines for over 22 years and at Aon for over 10 years. She was appointed to Delta Community’s board in 2003. Boyajian has been a commercial pilot at Delta Air Lines for over 36 years and is currently an A330 captain. He joined Delta Community’s board in 2005.
Delta Community’s other independent directors include Secretary and Treasurer Lemuel R. Wimbish Jr., Alan Arnold, Allison Ausband, Esther Hammond, Robin Stricklin and Matt Sullivan. Hank Halter, in his capacity as CEO, is the only member of management on the board.
