ATLANTA (Jan. 6, 2020) – Delta Community Credit Union (www.DeltaCommunityCU.com), Georgia's largest credit union with $6 billion in assets, announces the relocation and expansion of its retail branch in Decatur. The existing branch, which is located at 245 West Ponce de Leon Avenue, will be moved to a larger location in the lobby level of the commercial building at 160 Clairemont Avenue.
“Relocating our existing Decatur branch within the same area allows us to retain an established footprint, and also offer expanded services and more convenient access for our members,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. “This move both reflects our commitment to provide consumers with personalized care and superior value, which is at the heart of our not-for-profit, member-owned structure, and a lasting commitment to the Decatur community where we feel privileged to operate.”
The new Delta Community Decatur branch is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2020, and will house a full member service team, including professionals to assist with home, auto and personal loan needs, as well as retirement and investment services. The location, at the intersection of Clairmont Avenue and Commerce Drive, also offers improved brand presence, additional parking options, three convenient drive-through service lanes as well as a drive-up ATM to complement the existing walk-up option the Credit Union makes available today.
“Since we first opened our Decatur branch in 2010, Delta Community membership in Dekalb County has grown to more than 27,000 people,” added Halter. “We’re excited to offer these existing members a larger, more comfortable space, and also look forward to welcoming new members who are eligible to join and enjoy all the benefits of Delta Community.”
