HBCU Application Period Now Open

This year, Delta Community will award $25,000 in scholarships to students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Our second HBCU Scholarship entry period is now open and will run through October 31! If you know an exceptional student attending an HBCU or a graduating high school senior who has received an official acceptance letter to one, tell us why they deserve to receive a $5,000 scholarship. You may also nominate yourself. Delta Community will select two winners from among the most compelling submissions to each receive a $5,000 award. Visit DeltaCommunityCU.com/HBCU to apply and learn more about previous winners.
Love to Learn Contest

The annual Love to Learn Contest is in full swing! Our Sandy Savers™ and Cool Cash Kids are sharing what they’re most excited to learn this school year. Entries are open now through September 30, and kids can participate in any creative format they choose—drawings, poems, videos, stories or any other form of expression that showcases their enthusiasm for learning. Three winners will receive a $100 deposit into their Youth Savings Account.
New this year, we’re adding an extra credit assignment! Participants can spotlight someone who has been a positive influence in their life—whether it’s a teacher, parent, coach or neighbor. These are the people who help make learning meaningful and fun. Three adults will receive a $50 Amazon gift card as a thank-you for their inspiration.
And there’s more! The first 100 participants will receive a special back-to-school gift, mailed directly to their home. Encourage your young savers to let their creativity shine and share what they’re excited to learn this year.

Delta Community Helps Support Students with WSB-TV

Thanks to the generosity of our members, employees and community partners, Delta Community proudly supported this year’s Stuff the Bus campaign in collaboration with WSB-TV, and helped make back-to-school season brighter for local children in need.
Throughout the drive, bins at participating branches were filled with donations of essential school supplies—from backpacks and notebooks to pencils, glue sticks and more. The campaign ended with a special collection event at our John’s Creek Branch where the community came together to make a big impact.
All items collected will support children in foster and group homes across metro Atlanta, helping them start the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
