Philanthropic Fund Grants Awarded in May

Delta Community Philanthropic Fund recipients

The Delta Community Credit Union Philanthropic Fund awards $150,000 annually to registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that help families strengthen their financial well-being and support the health and success of young people. Through grant funding in May, four nonprofits are expanding programs that promote stability, well-being and long-term success.

FreeRent Foundation received $10,000 for its FreeRent Grant & Financial Stability program in Fulton County. Funding will help provide rental assistance, financial education and wraparound support services that help families move from housing instability to long-term financial security.

Atlanta Land Trust received $7,500 to support its Shared Equity Homeownership program in Fulton County. Funding will strengthen education programs that help low-income Atlantans build financial stability and create pathways to long-term, affordable homeownership.

Family Heritage Foundation received $5,000 to support its Save America’s Youth Yes! program in DeKalb County. Grant funding will provide safe afterschool STEM and early literacy programming for more than 50 refugee and low-income children.

Henry For Music received $5,000 to support its After-School Enrichment program in Henry County. The grant will provide students with free access to literacy, STEM and music instruction designed to support academic growth, confidence and artistic development.

We are proud to support these organizations and the meaningful work they do each day. Together, we’re helping build stronger, healthier communities for all.
