Delta Community Philanthropic Fund grant recipients

As part of our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve, Delta Community recently awarded $25,000 in grants from our 2025 Philanthropic Fund to four incredible nonprofit organizations:

Helping Other People be Empowered (H.O.P.E, Inc.) was granted $7,500 for its Mildred Dowdley Gift of HOPE program, helping low-income single parents pursue college degrees and develop essential life skills. Funds will directly support financial assistance, childcare, counseling and other vital services.

Next Generation Men & Women, Inc. received $7,500 for its College and Career-Readiness program, which connects traditionally underserved high school students with mentorship and real-world career exposure. The grant will help expand access to career pathways and prepare students for life beyond graduation.

ELEVATE Coweta Students received $5,000 for its Reading Readiness program, supporting first and second graders with daily reading instruction to strengthen literacy and comprehension. The program will benefit 20 students through personalized, on-campus support.

LaAmistad, Inc. was awarded $5,000 for its afterschool program, which serves low-income Latino students in grades 1–5 and offers academic support and family resources. This funding will help students build strong academic foundations while engaging families in their educational journey.

Throughout 2025, the Delta Community Philanthropic Fund will invest a total of $150,000 in 20 metro Atlanta nonprofit organizations that support the physical and financial well-being of individuals in the communities we proudly serve.
