2024 NATIONAL PET DAY FACEBOOK SWEEPSTAKES

Official Rules

1. HOW TO ENTER.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Delta Community Credit Union 2024 National Pet Day Facebook Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on April 11, 2024 7:00 am ET and ends on April 11, 2024 11:59 pm ET (the “Promotion Period”). 

You (“Entrant”) will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes when you “like” Delta Community Credit Union’s designated 2024 National Pet Day Facebook Sweepstakes post on Facebook and comment on the post by sharing a photo of your pet during the Promotion Period.

Limit of one (1) entry per person by any means.

2. ELIGIBILITY. Entrants must be US citizens residing in the US throughout the Promotion Period who are i) at least eighteen (18) years of age and ii) eligible for membership in Delta Community Credit Union as described at  https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/content/deltacommunitycreditunionprogram/us/en/personal/eligibility.html.. Entrants must not be employees or family members of employees (including spouse, children, parents and siblings of employees) of Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and any individuals engaged in any way in the development, production, printing, distribution or execution of this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law.

3. PRIZES. Two (2) prizes shall be awarded, each consisting of one (1) $50 chewy.com egift card (the “Prize”).  The winner will be selected and the prize awarded after the close of the Promotion Period (estimated to be on or around April 12, 2024).  Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Prizes: $100. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted. All federal and state taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner may be issued a 1099 tax form for the value of the prize and will be required to fill out a W-9 form. Failure to abide by these rules may result in forfeiture of the Prize.  

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS. Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about April 12, 2024 by Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Winner will be notified via Facebook messenger within two (2) days. If winner does not respond by April 15, 2024, an alternative winner will be selected.  Prize will only be awarded if winner complies with these Official Rules. Prize will be delivered via email to winner as an eGift card. 

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS. Sweepstakes offered to eligible participants, but void where prohibited or restricted by law.  By submitting your own entry and/or accepting a prize, you specifically acknowledge and agree that Sponsor may use your name and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By submitting an entry, you agree to release Delta Community Credit Union and its advertising agencies, officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, participation in or use or misuse of any prize.  You accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, selection of winner and awarding of prize.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  No correspondence will be acknowledged.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it deems unacceptable.  By entering this contest, you also acknowledge and agree that all personal information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Sponsor’s privacy policy, which is available at   https://www.deltacommunitycu.com/content/dam/deltacommunitycreditunionprogram/documents/home/forms/privacy-policy.pdf

6. RELEASES. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Entrants agree that the Sponsor, its affiliates and its employees, officers, representatives, its respective successors, assigns, and agencies, shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss, or damage of any kind or any other causes of action or claims related to Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

Entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold Delta Community Credit Union, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective members, officers, employees, and/or other partners, harmless from and against any and all claims, expenses (including attorneys’ fees and settlement costs), damages, suits, costs, demands, and/or judgments whatsoever, made by any third party due to or arising out of Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the use or misuse of the Prize by anyone other than Sponsor. As a condition to accepting the Prize, Entrants may be required to execute a separate release and indemnification agreement with Sponsor with respect to the use of the Prize.

Entrants acknowledge that this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta or chewy.com. You agree to release Meta from liability for any loss or damage of any kind in connection with this contest. By entering this contest, you are providing information to Delta Community Credit Union and not to Meta.

8. WINNERS. The winners may be posted on www.DeltaCommunityCU.com by April 15, 2024. For identification of the winner, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Delta Community Credit Union, Marketing Department, 3250 Riverwood Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339.
