What are internet cookies?

If you are receiving the message Cookies must be enabled on your browser to use Online Banking, verify the date on the computer is correct before making changes to the cookie settings. Correct the system date and then, close and reopen the browser or, if needed, reboot the computer. If you are still unable to access Online Banking or if you need assistance with other types of browsers contact 800-544-3328 for further assistance.

There are many types of browsers and browser versions being used today and it would be impossible for us to tell you "how to" in every type. In all cases you can reference your browser on-line help.

To allow cookies from Delta Community Credit Union:

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE version 7 and later)

  1. From the Tools drop down box, click on Internet Options
  2. Click on Privacy tab
  3. Under Settings, click on the Sites button
  4. In the Address of Website box, type
  5. Click Allow and then OK

To allow all cookies on your browser

Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7 and later)

  1. From the Tools drop down box, click on Internet Options
  2. Click on Privacy tab
  3. Under Settings, move the slider to the bottom to allow all cookies
  4. Click OK

To delete cookies from your PC you will need to clear temporary Internet files:

  1. From Tools at the top of the screen, click on the drop down box and select on Internet Options.
  2. A new window will open to the General Tab, under Browser History, click delete.
  3. Click OK

Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 7)

  1. Click Delete Cookies
  2. Click Yes
  3. Click Close

Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 8 or later)

The following options will be selected automatically: Preserve Favorites website data, Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History. Click on Delete and then click Files then OK. Close your browser after clearing Cookies.

Follow these instructions to enable your cookies


  1. Launch your browser and press the Menu button
  2. Tap More and then Settings
  3. Select Accept cookies (may need to scroll down to locate)

iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch with Safari

  1. Launch the Settings app
  2. Tap Safari
  3. Ensure Accept Cookies is set to From visited or Always
