Can a POA open an account with a Power of Attorney (POA) form?

A POA cannot open an account for a prospective member. However if the prospective member is unable to sign the membership application due to a physical disability, Delta Community will accept an application on which the applicant makes an X in place of a signature and has it notarized in order to open the account.
