Accessing Secure Email from a Safari Browser

An error is occurring for users of the Safari browser on Mac computers, iPhones and iPads when accessing the Secure Email from within Online Banking. If you receive a prompt for email address and password, you will need to temporarily change your Safari browser cookies setting to ALLOW ALL/NOT BLOCK ANY cookies. See the steps below for instructions for your device:

Mac

  1. Log out of Delta Community website (if currently logged in).
  2. In the very upper left corner of Safari browser, click on the word Safari.
  3. From the drop-down menu displayed, click on Preferences.
  4. From Preferences, click on Privacy icon.
  5. Click on the choice to not block any cookies (i.e. allow all cookies).
    For newer models: Make sure “Prevent cross-site tracking” is unchecked.
  6. Exit Preferences.
  7. Log in to the Delta Community website.
  8. Click on Additional Services from the main menu bar.
  9. Click on Secure Email.
  10. Click on either the Click Here To Send An Email link (to create email) or the Email Inbox link (to view email). You should no longer be prompted of an email address and password.
  11. When finished using Secure Email, you can go back to the Safari Preferences and change the cookies setting back to what it was previously (if desired).
    For newer models: When finished using Secure Email, you can go back to the Safari Preferences and check the “Prevent cross site tracking” (if desired).

iPhone and iPad

Unfortunately iOS versions 13.0 and higher are not compatible with the Secure Email feature. The instructions below will not work. The only option is to try a different device or computer.  

  1. Log out of Delta Community website (if currently logged in).
  2. Go to home screen by pressing the home button.
  3. Find and tap on the Settings app icon (looks like a gear wheel).
  4. Scroll down and tap on Safari in the Settings list.
  5. Scroll down and tap on the Block Cookies setting under the Safari Privacy & Security section.
    For newer models: Scroll down to the Privacy & Security section.
  6. Tap on the choice to Allow ALL cookies.
    For newer models: Make sure “Prevent cross-site tracking” is toggled OFF (not green).
  7. Exit the Settings app.
  8. Log in to the Delta Community website.
  9. Tap on Additional Services from the main menu bar.
  10. Tap on Secure Email.
  11. Tap on either the Click Here To Send An Email link (to create email) or the Email Inbox link (to view email). You should no longer be prompted for an email address and password.
  12. When finished using Secure Email, you can go back to the Settings app and change the Block Cookies setting back to whatever it was previously (if desired).
    For newer models: When finished using Secure Email, you can go back to the Settings app and toggle back ON the “Prevent cross-site tracking” (if desired).
