Royal Gentry has been named the new manager of Delta Community Credit Union’s Peachtree City branch.

Gentry is a familiar face in the community, having previously served as the assistant branch manager at the credit union’s Peachtree City branch on Wisdom Road.

“With Braelinn Village being a smaller branch, as well as being our first in Fayette County, we have a very consistent and faithful member base,” Gentry said. “Our members enjoy the sense of an intimate and personal banking experience which ultimately makes it enjoyable to serve.”

Gentry has 23 years of experience in the banking industry, including cash processing and vault management at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

She joined Delta Community in 2013 as a cash management specialist at the Mt. Zion branch in Stockbridge. She transferred to the credit union’s Virginia Avenue branch in Atlanta before being promoted to assistant branch manager at Wisdom Road in 2018.

Now serving as branch manager, Gentry is driven by her passion for banking, which she realized at 18 years old while working at Six Flags’ cash control department.

“I’m a process and policy driven person, so the balancing and accounting of currency has always just been a good fit,” she said. “I look forward to taking my experience and providing exceptional customer service to our members in Peachtree City and Fayette County.”
