Delta Community’s Reina Jones Honored with President’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Cobb Business Journal

Cobb-based Delta Community Credit Union announced that Reina Jones, assistant vice president of Community Development, has received the Joseph R. Biden Lifetime Achievement Award.

The award recognizes individuals who have positively impacted their communities and contributed at least 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime.

The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor in the President’s Volunteer Service Award program. The selection process involves being nominated and then vetted by both former presidential award recipients and community leaders.

In her current role, Jones helps Delta Community deliver on its commitment to responsible corporate citizenship through various initiatives in metro Atlanta communities, including grant programs, scholarship awards and financial education resources. Beyond her work at the credit union, Jones is an active member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors with Communities in Schools of Atlanta. She is a past president and at-large board member with the Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta, and is actively involved in Out of Hand Theater, Veritas and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
