Bob Walsh has more than 35 years of experience in financial services and banking. He serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Delta Community Credit Union, one of Atlanta’s largest financial institutions. Bob is responsible for management and oversight of credit exposure for the organization. He directs the development and execution of Delta Community’s consumer, residential, commercial and participation strategies. He has oversight of the generation and management of revenue, as well as collections, recovery and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Bob began his career with Bank of America. He previously served with Synovus as President and CEO of Cohutta Banking Company and served as President and CEO of United Community Bank of Cobb County. In those roles Bob was responsible for all aspects of banking services including retail offices, mortgage lending, commercial banking and loan administration.

Bob graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Industrial Management and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He lives in Marietta and serves on the boards of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Kennesaw State University Foundation.
