Delta Community to Award $125,000 to Metro Atlanta Nonprofits

Delta Community Credit Union will award a total of $125,000 to 20 organizations that were selected as 2022 recipients through the Credit Union's annual Philanthropic Fund grant program.

Delta Community’s Financial Education Center Earns Top National Honor

Delta Community Credit Union has been recognized by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) for the outstanding educational opportunities delivered through its Financial Education Center. CUNA presented Delta Community with the 2021 Desjardins Award for Adult Financial Education. The award honors U.S. credit unions that demonstrate leadership in financial literacy education and initiatives.

Delta Community Credit Union has opened a new branch in Chamblee, Georgia – its second location in DeKalb County and 28th in metro Atlanta.

Delta Community to Open New Full-Service Branch in Woodstock, Georgia

Delta Community Credit Union will open a new branch in Woodstock, Georgia in early 2022. It will be the credit union’s 29th branch in metro Atlanta and second in Cherokee County, one of 16 metro Atlanta counties it serves.

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU) honored Delta Community with the credit union’s fifth consecutive Desjardins Adult Financial Education Award, and fourth consecutive Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award, which are presented to Georgia credit unions that show leadership in financial literacy initiatives.

Delta Community Credit Union has expanded its field of membership to include Butts and Spalding counties in south metro Atlanta. With this expansion, membership in Delta Community is now open to all residents of 16 metro Atlanta counties.
