Delta Community’s Jai Rogers-Thomas Named Board President of Trees Atlanta

Credit union VP to lead board of nonprofit advocating for region’s urban forest

ATLANTA (Aug. 25, 2025) – Delta Community Credit Union congratulates Jai Rogers-Thomas, vice president of Business and Community Development, on her election as president of the Trees Atlanta Board of Directors. A Trees Atlanta board member since 2020, she was unanimously elected to her new position on August 1. Over the past three years, she has participated in numerous committees as well as served as a host for the Root Ball, Trees Atlanta’s largest annual fundraiser—two years as chair and one as co-chair.

“I have dedicated my career to enriching the lives of individuals and families by strengthening our communities through collaboration, education and volunteerism,” said Rogers-Thomas. “I am honored to serve Trees Atlanta in this new capacity as Trees Atlanta’s mission to protect and enhance the urban canopy and preserve the region’s natural beauty and character aligns with my personal interests and Delta Community’s commitment to corporate stewardship.”

Rogers-Thomas has more than 25 years of experience leading community engagement strategies for well-known companies and organizations throughout metro Atlanta. She will continue to lead Delta Community’s investment and outreach initiatives while bringing deep expertise in building meaningful business and community partnerships to her new volunteer leadership role.
