A garnishment is a legal order concerning the attachment of property to satisfy a debt. Upon receipt of a garnishment or similar order, Delta Community places a hold on all accounts on which you have an ownership. You are then notified by phone or mail, advising of the hold. Generally, the hold can only be released with a Release issued by the appropriate court. Delta Community charges a processing fee of $50 per court ordered document.
