Fraudulent Email: Invalid Login Attempts

Delta Community has been made aware of fraudulent phishing email messages being sent to some members of the Credit Union. This email's subject line says, "Important Notice from Delta Community Credit Union." This fraudulent message states that Delta Community has detected multiple invalid login attempts related to the member's account and has temporarily suspended it. The malicious email prompts members to click on a link to reactivate account access. Please know Delta Community is not associated with these messages and will never request username or password information via email or by way of an embedded link. Affected members should delete the message. Please do not click on the link or respond to the email.

Fraudulent Email: Account Access Temporarily Disabled

Delta Community has been made aware of fraudulent phishing email messages being sent to some members of the Credit Union. This email's subject line says, "Account access temporarily disabled." This fraudulent message states that Delta Community has detected unusual activity related to the member's account and has temporarily disabled it. It prompts members to click on a link to reestablish account access. Please know Delta Community is not associated with these messages and will never request username or password information via email. Affected members should delete the message. Please do not click on the link or respond to the email.

Fraudulent Email: Unrecognized Login Attempt

Delta Community has been made aware of fraudulent phishing email messages being sent to some members under the name of the Credit Union. This email is titled “Unrecognized Login Attempt.” Please know this is fraudulent and Delta Community is not associated with these messages. Delta Community will never request username/password validations via email. Do not click on the link or respond to the email and delete the message.

Fraudulent Email Circulating Not From Delta Community

Delta Community has been made aware of fraudulent phishing email messages being sent to some members under the name of the Credit Union. This email is titled “Important Online Banking Security Notice.” The message states the member’s Delta Community account has incorrect billing information, and prompts the member to click on a link, log-in to his/her online banking account, and perform various account verifications to update his/her personal information to resolve the problem. Please know this is fraudulent and Delta Community is not associated with these messages. Do not respond to the email and delete the message.

Fraudulent Text Messages Claim Accounts are Locked

Delta Community has been made aware of fraudulent text messages being sent to some members under the name of the Credit Union. The messages say members’ Delta Community cards, or other accounts, have been locked and they must call to resolve the problem. Please know this is fraudulent and Delta Community is not associated with the messages. Do not respond with texts or phone calls to the contact information and delete the message.
