Beware: Checks are Being Stolen Out of Mailboxes

DO NOT place checks in your mailbox with the flag up for the mailman to pick up. Account holders of many financial institutions are experiencing checks being stolen from their mailboxes. The amounts and payees are changed and the checks are negotiated. Always drop your mail in a secured postal box or mail at the Post Office.

Online Banking Password Reset Scam

There are reports of a scam that is circulating at a variety of financial institutions regarding a screen that appears during the login process to online banking. This page is generated from malware located on your personal computer. Malware is a general term for software programs that have been designed with or can be used for malicious intent. These include viruses, worms and Trojans.
