Routine Maintenance Updates Coming to Online Banking This Month

We know that many of our members use Online Banking to transfer funds, pay bills and stay current with their accounts. Online Banking is generally easy, fast, secure and can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

As a financial institution, Delta Community must make continual updates and improvements to its software systems to provide a convenient environment for our members. We always want our members to have a positive, safe and secure Online Banking experience, which is why this month, we’ll be making some important enhancements to our Online Banking platform. We regularly update our systems, often with small changes, that don’t affect your Online Banking activities.

On Monday, February 25, 2019, we’ll be updating some of our online systems to improve several of its features, and this change means that members may need to update some of the older software on their personal devices. While the number of affected Delta Community members is relatively small, the updates are important.

Depending on the devices you use for Online Banking, you may need to update your Internet browsers, computer operating systems and/or phone and tablet operating systems. If these updates are not made, it may prevent you from using Online Banking.

This is the outdated software that needs updating before February 25 to be compatible with our upgraded Online Banking system:

Phone and Tablet Operating Systems and Internet Browsers that Need Updating

  • Android phones and tablets using operating system version 4.4.4 (also known as KitKat) and older versions will need to be upgraded to Android operating systems that became available after December 2014. Here’s how to identify the version of Android that your phone is using.
  • Apple® iOS phones and tablets using internet browser Safari® versions 5 and older will need to update to Apple iOS 12.1.4 and the most recent version of Safari. Here’s how to identify the version of Apple® iOS that your phone is using. Safari® is the default browser on all Apple® devices, so when the operating system is updated then the browser is updated as well.
  • Windows® phones using Internet Explorer® Mobile version 10 and older will need to be upgraded to the latest mobile browser. Microsoft Edge® is the new browser that replaced Internet Explorer Mobile in Windows 10 Mobile.

There is one very important exception to the above mobile software requirements. If you are using Delta Community’s Mobile App on your tablet or phone (instead of typing in the URL on your web browser), then you do not need to update your phone’s operating system or web browser.
