Please Call Us to Make a 2020 Contribution to Your Delta Community IRA, HSA or ESA

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) recently announced a deadline extension for individuals to make 2020 contributions to tax-advantaged savings accounts; the new deadline is May 17, 2021 for the 2020 tax year.*

If you haven't maximized your Individual Retirement Account (IRA and Roth IRA), Health Savings Account (HSA), or Coverdell Education Savings Account (Coverdell ESA) contribution for last year, Delta Community is available to personally assist you over the phone.

Due to a technology limitation related to the changed deadline, contributions made to your account via Online Banking after the original deadline of April 15, 2021 will not be applied as a 2020 contribution but as a 2021 contribution.

To make a tax-advantaged contribution for the 2020 tax year, please call us directly at 404-677-4600, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET and Saturday between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET. Our team of Certified IRA Professionals will talk to you and ensure that your 2020 contribution is allocated appropriately.

*Please verify your state's guidelines for contribution deadlines, as they may vary from the federal deadline.
