Delta Community Ranks in 10 Best Credit Unions

Delta Community branch

Bankrate.com, a widely followed and well-respected online financial publication, recently named Delta Community among the best credit unions in the U.S. in their  2019 Top Ten Credit Unions List. To compile its list, Bankrate.com considered credit unions which offer both free or low-cost checking accounts and competitive rates on savings accounts. “This is a significant honor that reflects the value we are delivering to our members, as well as our keen focus on superior service,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. “Such recognition is made possible because of our dedicated employees, and their committed efforts to serve our members and the Credit Union each and every day."

Employees Brighten Day of Young Patients

Every quarter, Delta Community hosts patient parties at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. These parties provide children and their families the opportunity to enjoy time away from their rooms and interact with other kids, while employee volunteers assist the patients with fun arts and crafts. In February, we hosted a Valentine’s Day themed party where children made heart-shaped butterflies, crafted Valentine’s Day cards and painted pictures. We are proud to strengthen our community through volunteer efforts.
